Thank you to those who registered as vendors at the upcoming Used Toy and Baby Equipment Sale. We will be calling you prior to the sale to remind you of all the details, and update you on any changes. This is a brief overview of our expectations for our vendors for this upcoming Saturday, October 13th, 2007. If you have any questions email us at or call 834-7075
The Community Centre will be open to CWC volunteers at 7:30am. Our volunteers will be focusing on specific tasks, such as setting up tables, preparing coffee and food, and setting up the CWC sale items. Once completed they will have time to help you unload large items.
Vendors are welcome to arrive anytime between 8:00 and 8:30 am. We are unable to hold the community centre overnight, this is why we have to come in so early. There are many vendors, and those who arrive earliest will be able to select their table.
Once you arrive, enter the community centre and find the Belinda Leung, event Director. She will be at the community center during set-up.
Each Vendor stays and sells their own items at this Sale.
Each vendor will be assigned a table and a vendor number. This number can be used to identify large items such as slides, playhouses, and bikes that you may want to station in the fenced backyard. You are not required to use this service and may keep all your sale items at your table.
You must bring your own change to the sale. The CWC will not be equipped with change for your sale items.
When signing in,please be prepared with an exact tally of change in your float or however you plan to make change. We will keep a record of this number for close out, when your total sales will be calculated.
Do not bring any car seats or helmets to the sale, or you will need to find storage for them until you leave. We do not allow the sale of safety equipment like this. We cannot guarantee how safe these items would be regardless of the products history.
To be most efficient we encourage you to pre-price your items before the event.
Doors open to customers at 9am sharp, no earlier.
The CWC volunteers will be at the community centre, and will occassionally change as shifts come and go.
When you have sold everything, or when you are preparing to leave.
Find Belinda Leung to close out sale.
Count all money's within your float or purse.
Subtract - with board record sheet - the amount of change you arrived with.
25% of this amount will be given to the Board Member.
$5 will then be taken off the remainder to pay for vendors fees - for those who have chosen multiple tables the cost will reflect this at $5 per extra table.
Remove all remaining toys and equipment from the community center. You may at anytime donate remaining items to the CWC table, if you choose to not transport your items home again. We have the right to refuse any donation at this time.
We will be contacting all of our vendors post sale to get feedback on how it went, general productivity of sale, and other comments that may help us to improve on our new format. Thank you so much for joining us as a vendor at the 2007 CWC Annual Toy and Baby Equipment Sale.
