Is it for me??
Essensially those parents involved will be gathered in a social and open discussion with a facilitator who chooses a topic based on interest and finds resources and information to bring to the table.  All parent's are welcome and the discussion is geared to be inciteful and filled with information, but each parent must determine what is best for her family.

But I already have support??
The Network does not require registration, so any and all mothers are welcome to come.  Come once, or come often, it is your choice and in no way will attending this program reflect a lack of support for you or your family.  If you are considering attending, but feel you are not in need of these services, remember that you may have something unique and new to offer the other parents attending.  Each of us needs social and informed contacts to learn about the resources this wonderful city offers, and to build relationships within our community.

Do I have to sign up??
No, each parent can attend as often or as little as they choose.  You are not committing to weekly attendance, nor are you going to be pressured to return.  This service is valuable, and those who find it so will continue attending.  Those whose schedules are not flexible can come at random or on a topic based routine where they come only to sessions where the topic is relevant to their needs.

Each attendee will be asked to fill out a basic information sheet for demographic and user details, but this does not obligate you to attend in any way.

What if I need specific Information?
Our facilitator is there to help you connect with the resources and the current information that you are looking for.  Topics will be chosen at the facilitators discression, and will be based on the needs and direction of each individual group.  And if you have an off topic need, the facilitator can direct you with the help of The Canadian Mothercraft Resources.

I am interested, but need more info.
Keep updated on topics and information by checking out our website.  You can also call Belinda Leung, Branch Facilitator, at 834-7075 at anytime to directly answer your questions.
